Reading in Year 6

With SATS at the end of the year I would really encourage Year Six to read as much as they can over the year.  This will help with not only the reading paper but also the content and quality of the language and grammar skills they use in their writing.

I will send a reading record home next week with each child.  Please encourage your child to complete this reading record as they read each book by filling out a small synopsis.  At the end of each half term all reading records will come in to be checked and children who have read can achieve the reading award!
