Weekly Spellings

This week (as well as last) is about assessing and reviewing the Year 4 term 2 spelling words. The Power Point presentation and the last PDF spelling activity are the same. The children need to read through each or Mr. Whoop's passages where he has accidentally 10 spelling words incorrectly. Then they should highlight the words they think to be errors and lastly provide the correct spellings at the bottom of the spelling activity sheet.

The Spelling dictation is similar to the spelling tests carried out recently. The children will have the passage/passages with the missing words. See the documents saved as Spelling Dictation Activity Cloze Passages.pdf

An adult needs to read out/dictate the missing words and then check it at end. There is a Spelling Dictation Activity Cloze Passages.pdf booklet to keep the scores and practice any misspelt words.
