Snow Day

Topic Ideas:

Our current topic is "Around the World", so you could chat to people in your family who may have visited other countries, lived in other countries or are from somewhere else. You could look at holiday photos and see what is the same and different, talk about the weather, clothing, food of that place.

I have also started a "Around the World" Pinterest page with some fun activities on it.

Phonics Ideas:

Check out the phonics Pinterest board that we have set up. We have lots of lovely games and activities.

Read your reading books or anything around you.

Communication and Language:

This is a great time for lots of language! Talk about everything you see and do. Call a relative and tell them or prepare something to tell the class.
