WELCOME TO
WHITCHURCH COMBINED SCHOOL
PTA
The PTA (Parent & Teacher Association) is a registered charity run by Whitchurch Parents and Teachers who volunteer their time and resources to fundraise throughout the year.
Our fundraising helps fund additional resources that the school cannot otherwise fund throughout the year, with all our proceeds going back into the school. In the past we have funded the library refurbishment, the IT suite refurbishment, purchased a bank of iPads to be used in each classroom and interactive whiteboards for each class. We also regularly fund a Pantomime for all the students at Christmas and give each year group £300 every year to subsidise their school trip costs.
Our aim is to provide fun activities for the children and families of Whitchurch School whilst raising much needed funds. Some of our activities include;
Summer Fayre
Themed Discos
Movie Nights
& Bake Sales.
We are a relatively small group and rely heavily on parent help at our events so if you would like to join the PTA, please send us your details via email. Additionally if you would prefer not to join the PTA but do have some spare time to help at events then please look out for our helper forms for every event, or follow the links below.

ONGOING FUNDRAISING EFFORTS
As well as our large events, there are lots of other ways you can help us fundraise throughout the year.
Our Buckinghamshire Lottery Page is an easy way to contribute to the school and you can win prizes every week!
The Ink Bin
We have setup an ink cartridge collection box in reception for all of your empty cartridges. So next time you run out of ink drop them into reception and we can earn from recycling them.
Also keep a look out for our new all year round clothes recycling container that will be installed very soon. Please bring any of your old clothes/shoes etc to fill up the container. It will be emptied regularly and we will earn funds from everything donated.
We also have a battery recycling box in reception too. Although we won't get anything in return for recycling the batteries we would like to be more mindful of ways we can help look after our environment. Please bring any used batteries to school when you have them and we will dispose of them appropriately.
