Remote Learning

Fortunately, snow days in our area are rare and, because of this, are days that many families cherish. However, the remote-learning option is made possible because of the groundwork laid over the past couple of years. We are now prepared for and have become accustomed to switching to remote learning.

If the school is closed, we will offer remote learning provision as set out below.

Day 1: Children sent home from school. No remote Learning will be set as staff will be looking after any children remaining in school. If the closure is due to snow then please see below for some fun, Snow Day Activities to complete with your child(ren).

Day 2: learning will be set on the school website under ‘Class Pages’. Messages will be sent on Class Dojo for parents to find the remote learning. Remote Learning will be available from 9:00am.

In EYFS – a phonics and topic activity

In Years 1 and 2 – a phonics, maths and English activity

In Years 3 to 6 – a SPaG, maths and English activity (Work will be set on Google Classroom and communicated by via Class Dojo)

Should we need to continue Remote Learning then the format of Day 2 will continue into Day 3 and beyond.
